Wanneroo Crane Hire was first established in 1976 and has been operating under the present management since 1986. Wanneroo Crane Hire predominately provides a lifting service to the construction industry, domestic house building industry, private sector and to general industry in surrounding areas. Our service entails providing the right machine with an operator to carry out work as directed on site.

The company initially supplied two cranes for work in the goldfields. Soon a customer base was formed after working the machines in the Wanneroo area and surrounding northern suburbs during periods between work in the goldfields.

Between 1986 and 1989 the company built 3 x 10 tonne tractor cranes at its Wangara workshop facility to service growth in demand mainly in the domestic building sector. This was a period of unsurpassed growth. Steady growth in the nineties enabled the company to modernise and expand its crane fleet to what it is today.

Our services include, but are not limited to, the following:

Construction Industry

  • Lifting roof sheets, air-conditioners, concrete panels, conveyors, electric motors and structural steel on commercial buildings
  • Providing access by lifting a manned cage at a quarry
  • Erection of the building, roof and air conditioning
  • Installation and commissioning of plant and machinery inside the building.

Private & Domestic

  • Construction of new homes
  • Renovation or extension of existing homes
  • Lift trees, spas, pools, cubby houses, soak wells, hot water systems, patios, gazebos, caravans and storage containers
  • Assisting brick layers, roof carpenters or roof contractors
  • Moving or lifting equipment including drill rigs and bobcats


At Wanneroo Crane Hire our service includes pre-appraisal, quotation, supply of appropriate equipment and competent operators. Our business is fully insured and has a third party property damage limit of $10 million. We also fully comply with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

Safety has always been the most important factor in determining the suitability of a crane for every job. The industry has strict occupational health and safety guidelines, which have to be followed. With this in mind the company has endeavoured to provide the safest option to its customers. All Wanneroo Crane Hire machines have regular maintenance and safety checks and comply with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.

All Wanneroo Crane Hire operators are first class experienced crane operators with many years of combined experience between them. All have relevant certificates of competence to operate cranes and some have rigging or dogging certificates or both.
